O2 Ireland's data revenue saw a significant jump of more than 18% in the three months to the end of March compared to the same period last year, the company said today.

Data revenue now accounts for 41% of O2's total mobile service revenues. Data traffic on O2’s network was up over 40% at the end of March, when compared with the same period last year.
