Transport and tourism plan 'to generate 1,200 jobs': Varadkar

Minister for Transport and Tourism Leo Varadkar has said the Government aims to create up 1,200 jobs by funding road repairs, reducing VAT for the tourism sector, and investing in sustainable public transport.

The measures will be contained in the Government's jobs initiative to be published this evening in the Dáil.
