Survey shows 1 in 7 workers worried about jobs

Some 69% of workers don't feel their jobs are safe, according to a new survey.

The survey by Peninsula Ireland also shows that 74% of staff worry about not having enough money to get by when they retire.

Over 1,000 workers were polled last month for the survey, with the results revealing 71% have been forced to take on a heavier workload for the same pay, and 63% would prefer to take a pay cut than be laid off altogether.
