SFA: Average wage just over €32k a year

A new survey of reveals that the average employee of a small company now earns more than €32,300 per year.

The Small Firms Association Pay and Conditions survey also shows that the majority of small businesses now have a sick pay and pension schemes in operation.

However, of the 1,316 firms surveyed only 21% pay maternity benefit above the social welfare payment.
