Trinity hosts employment and economics symposium

Trinity College is today hosting a research symposium about employment and the economic crisis.

Taking place in the Institute for International Integration Studies, the aim of the one-day summit is to bring together ongoing research on unemployment, inequality and living conditions in Ireland today.

The programme will feature both Irish and International speakers including Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics Richard Hyman and Brian Nolan, Professor of Public Policy in the School of Applied Social Science at UCD.

The speakers will address a variety of issues relating to the crisis including why it happened and what solutions might exist.
