Limerick concrete firm in €7.6m tax settlement
A concrete manufacturing firm has paid over €7.6m in unpaid taxes and penalties to the Revenue Commissioners.
Gleeson Concrete - from Dooradoyle Road in Limerick city - is among 62 settlements in excess of €100,000 detailed in the latest tax defaulters' list published today.
The second largest payment - totalling €3m - was paid by quarry operator John Gallagher from Duleek in Co Meath.
A total of €116.1m in outstanding taxes, interests and penalties was paid to the Revenue Commissioners during the three months to the end of December last.
