Car sales continue to grow

A total of 33,600 new cars have been sold in the first two months of this year, an increase of 18% on the same period in 2010.

Last month, more than 12,600 new cars were sold - 4% up on February last year and well ahead of expectations, according to the Society for the Irish Motor Industry.
