Sales boost for Jameson owners

Pernod Ricard, which owns Jameson, achieved a 7% rise in underlying sales for the half-year to end-December, and an 8% rise in underlying recurring operating profit to €1.21bn.

Pernod Ricard, which owns Jameson, achieved a 7% rise in underlying sales for the half-year to end-December, and an 8% rise in underlying recurring operating profit to €1.21bn.

The company said global economic conditions had improved in the last six months of 2010, led by markets in China and India.

“This enables us to revise our guidance for organic growth in profit from recurring operations,” said CEO Pierre Pringuet.
