Report: Irish exporters most optimistic about 2011
Irish exporters are among the most optimistic in the world when it comes to this year's prospects., according to the Grant Thornton International Business Report.
The report, which covers 30 economies worldwide, also said that the majority of Irish firms expect a further decrease in unemployment in 2011.
In addition, it finds that three quarters of all Irish companies expect to increase or maintain profitability this year.
Partner in Grant Thornton, Pat Burke said that, while this level of optimism is well placed, Irish businesses are less hopeful about the nation's prospects overall.
