Union to meet with Lynch Hotel reciever in bid to save jobs

Efforts are being made to save around a hundred jobs at two hotels in the Lynch Hotel Group.

SIPTU representatives have scheduled a meeting for next week with a receiver who has been appointed to the Clare Inn Hotel in Co. Clare and the Breaffy House Resort in Co. Mayo.

The company successully emerged from examinership in 2009.

The company said this development came about because of Bank of Scotland Ireland's decision to pull out of the Irish market.
