One of the co-founders of Google is to become its new CEO.

Thirty-seven-year-old Larry Page will take over on April 4.

Page held the post for three years before the man he is replacing, Eric Schmidt, was brought in in 2001.

Google now has a market value of more than $200bn (€148bn).

The two men, along with another co-founder Sergey Brin, are among the world's wealthiest people.
