EU official warns banks to behave 'morally'

The top European official in charge of financial reform is calling on banks to behave "morally" when deciding bonuses.

Michel Barnier has warned he will ensure new EU rules that curb cash payouts are respected.

Speaking at a meeting of Eurozone Finance Ministers, Commissioner Barnier said people are suffering because of high unemployment and banks have an obligation and responsibility to behave ethically.
