JP Morgan Chase sees Q4 earnings soar 47%

American bank JP Morgan Chase has announced a 47% increase in earnings for the fourth quarter of 2010 as compared to the same period a year earlier.

The investment bank's profits of more than $3bn are being credited on a narrowing of bad debt losses.
