Doyle named managing director of Audi Ireland

Audi Ireland today announced the appointment of Andrew Doyle as its managing director.

Effective from January 1, 2011, Doyle will take over from Fintan Knight who has moved to take up the position of commercial director at Lamborghini SpA (Bologna).

Knight had been in the role for two years.

Andrew Doyle will be responsible for continuing the implementation of the €80 million long-term retail development plan announced in February of this year.

Doyle, who was born in Australia, has over 18 years experience in the motoring industry, working with Audi Australia and the BMW Group.

He has most recently been responsible for helping Audi Australia with their AUD$230m (€173.3m) dealer development plan.
