Ernst and Young expects recession and unemployment to continue in 2011
Ernst and Young is predicting unemployment will stay as high as 14% up until 2014, despite high emigration.
In its Winter Eurozone Forecast, the company also warns we are likely to stay in recession next year.
Despite Government forecasts of modest growth in the economy next year, Ernst and Younghas predicted a further contraction of 2.3%, following the 1.5% fall in 2010.
That is despite the Government's efforts to help the economy bounce back, with the four-year national recovery plan and the most harsh Budget in history.
