20 new nursing jobs to be created

Twenty new ‘high-tech’ nursing jobs are to be created following a deal between healthcare services provider Uniphar and primary care network Point of Care, it was announced today.

The jobs will be created at Point of Care facilities over the next two years.

Point of Care, established in 2007, provides dedicated one to one nursing care within the local community, delivering patient services through infusion, injection and vaccinations.

“This is a very exciting development for Point of Care, providing us with a seal of approval for our community based nursing services and the work we have carried out,” said Point of Care CEO Jim Joyce.

“This agreement will allow Point of Care to expand our community care services for our patients, as well as creating 20 new high tech nursing roles over the coming 18-24 months.
