Budweiser firm announces 7% fall in profits

Anheuser-Busch InBev has reported a fall in third quarter profits after its beer sales declined in North America and Western Europe.

The brewer, which produces Stella Artois, Becks and Budweiser in the UK, made a net profit of $1.43bn (€1bn) in the three months to the end of September, down 7% on a year earlier.
