Pound slumps further against the euro

The pound was at a six-month low against the euro today amid mounting expectations for the Bank of England to pump more money into the economy.

Sterling slumped to just more than €1.12 hitting levels not seen since April earlier this week as markets saw further money-boosting measures becoming increasing likely.
