Tender prices in construction at lowest level for 12 years

Construction tender prices are at their lowest levels since 1998, according to new figures from the Society of Chartered Surveyors.

The group is calling for the introduction of a property tax, which Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs Pat Carey yesterday indicated is "a possibility".
