Dublin's Lord Mayor launches 'Your Village - Our City' scheme

Dublin's Lord Mayor will launch a new business initiative in the city today with representatives of Dublin's 30 villages.

Gerry Breen will welcome business owners to a two-hour workshop in an effort to establish how to spread a positive community spirit, which is hoped will lead to increased business in the areas concerned.

'Your Village - Our City' is designed to encourage people to shop locally.
