Fresh talks in Virgin pilots dispute

Fresh talks are to be held in a bid to avert industrial action by pilots employed by Virgin Atlantic, it was learned today.

Fresh talks are to be held in a bid to avert industrial action by pilots employed by Virgin Atlantic, it was learned today.

The British Airline Pilots’ Association (Balpa) said a meeting with the company’s management will be held on September 6 to try to resolve a row over hours.

Talks to avoid confrontation were adjourned last week without agreement.

Balpa said the dispute was over the way the company was interpreting an agreement on the minimum number of rostered days off.
