Bloomsbury Publishing today said the relaunch of the 'Harry Potter' series to tie in with the keenly-awaited movie of the final book would help drive a stronger second half after interim profits fell 48%.

The group reported pre-tax profits of €1.16m against profits of £1.8m (€2.2m) a year earlier, although it said underlying earnings rose 8%.
