Bloomsbury Publishing today said the relaunch of the 'Harry Potter' series to tie in with the keenly-awaited movie of the final book would help drive a stronger second half after interim profits fell 48%.

Publishing house Bloomsbury reported a drop in annual profits today but said best-sellers including Ben Macintyre's spy story Operation Mincemeat had given a boost to trading at the start of 2010.
