Abtran secures two new accreditations

Process outsourcing services company Abtran has earned two accreditations for data security and control of the information and transactions that it processes for clients.

The internationally recognised accreditations enhances the company’s standing in the global €300bn business process outsourcing market.

Abtran has been awarded the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, (PCI DSS), the leading global security standard for firms handling credit card data.

The Irish company also secured the internationally recognised SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards) accreditation following an independent assessment by accountants Mazars on behalf of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
