Ryanair announces new Barcelona route

Ryanair has announced that it will open one new route from Barcelona (El Prat Airport) to Fuerteventura and will increase frequencies on nine other routes to Brussels (Charleroi), Cagliari, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Edinburgh, Gran Canaria, Milan (Bergamo), Paris (Beauvais), Rome (Ciampino) and Venice (Treviso) from November 2010.

Ryanair has announced that it will open one new route from Barcelona (El Prat Airport) to Fuerteventura and will increase frequencies on nine other routes to Brussels (Charleroi), Cagliari, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Edinburgh, Gran Canaria, Milan (Bergamo), Paris (Beauvais), Rome (Ciampino) and Venice (Treviso) from November 2010.

Ryanair will also base three new aircraft (eight in total) at Barcelona (El Prat) from November which will increase Ryanair’s traffic at El Prat to over 2.5m passengers per year and sustain up to 2,500 local jobs, the airline said
