Luxury car sales accelerating in UK

The UK may be bracing itself for an age of austerity but luxury cars are flying off the forecourts, car dealership Pendragon said today.

Pendragon’s Stratstone dealership – whose top-end marques include Ferrari, BMW and Aston Martin – led the way as the firm’s pre-tax profits jumped 48% to £15.7m (€18.8m) for the first half of 2010.
