Union looks forward to working with new Arnotts boss

The Mandate Trade Union has said it is looking forward to engaging with the new management at Arnotts.

Earlier the European Commission gave the green light for Anglo Irish Bank and Ulster Bank to assume full control of the iconic department store.

The banks will leave the day-to-day running of the store to retail expert Mark Schwartz, who has said he intends working closely with staff and suppliers to ensure that Arnotts thrives for many years to come.
