Ryanair to apologise to easyJet founder
The low-cost airline Ryanair is to formally apologise to Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder of rival easyJet, about an advert which portrayed him as Pinocchio and called him 'Mr Late Again'.
The legal action began after the advert was published earlier this year.
Ryanair has subsequently taken out a number of newspaper adverts retracting its original claims.
The airline will pay the former easyJet boss damages.
