The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell back slightly today, closing 10.76 points down at 2,884.23.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell back slightly today, closing 10.76 points down at 2,884.23.

In the financial sector, Allied Irish Banks slipped 2c to 93c, whilst Irish Life and Permanent was 1c down at €1.57. Bank of Ireland bucked the trend, gaining 2c to 73c.
