BT workers vote on strike action
BT workers in the UK are starting to vote today on whether or not to take strike action in a row over pay.
The Communication Workers Union is asking thousands of its members to back a 5% pay claim.
The CWU says workers have endured pay freezes, pension changes and redundancies over the past two years.
The ballot is going ahead despite moves by the firm to avert industrial action.
There has not been a strike at BT in 23 years.
