Little movement for ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares crept up 2.49 points to 3,091.94 by 11am today.
The financials performed well, with Irish Life and Permanent leading the way, improving 14c to €1.87. Allied Irish Banks did well, up 3c to €1. Bank of Ireland was unchanged on 84c.
The Exchanges top performer so far was Kerry Group, climbing 28c to €23.08. Dragon Oil was not far behind, up 26c to €5.25.
There was bad news elsewhere however. Paddy Power slumped 34c to €25.43. DCC (down 15c to €19.15), Smurfit Kappa (down 13c to €6.96) and Irish Continental Group (down 10c to €15.20) all lost ground.
