Energie group to acquire Jackie Skelly Fitness

The énergie group has announceed that the High Court has approved its proposal to acquire Jackie Skelly Fitness after a period of examinership.

The énergie investment will secure existing memberships and more than 200 jobs at Jackie Skelly Fitness.

Jackie Skelly Fitness entered the Examinership process in February. The proposal by énergie includes the restructuring of the business’s balance sheet and the acquisition of nine of the 10 existing Jackie Skelly Fitness clubs to operate under the énergie brand.

Jan Spaticchia, énergie group CEO said: “We are delighted that our proposed investment has been approved by the High Court and that we can ensure the survival of Jackie Skelly Fitness memberships and jobs.”
