Hanger Six jobs to go to Germany
Ryanair has revealed that 200 jobs which they wanted to create at Hangar Six at Dublin airport, are instead going to Germany.
The low fares airline was embroiled in a bitter dispute with the Tánaiste Mary Coughlan at the start of the year, after she insisted she would not force Aer Lingus to row back on its lease for the building previously occupied by SR Technics.
Instead the jobs are now going to Frankfurt Hahn.
Ryanair Deputy Chief Executive Michael Cawley said the approach of the German government could not have been more different than the reception they received here.
