The euro is regaining ground after falling to its lowest level in value against the US Dollar in four years overnight.

The euro is regaining ground after falling to its lowest level in value against the US Dollar in four years overnight.

The eurozone currency was worth just more than $1.22c this morning - its worst position since April 2006.

Global markets are reacting to increasing concerns that Europe's debt crisis is still not under control.

European Finance Ministers are to meet in Brussels today to discuss the crisis.
