The latest Ulster Bank Construction PMI survey reveals a further deterioration of operating conditions with both new business and employment falling at faster rates.

But the data also shows a boost in confidence which is at its highest level in three years.

Chief Economist at Ulster Bank Simon Barry has said construction firms expect activity to be higher in the next twelve months.
