Eircom appoints new Director of Corporate Affairs

Eircom today announced the appointment of Andrew Haire as Director of Corporate Affairs.

Mr Hairjoins the company’s senior management team and will report to eircom Group CEO Paul Donovan.

Mr Haire, who hails from the US, began his career with IBM, spending his early years in an engineering role and later in marketing. He left to join MCI, becoming their Senior Policy Advisor, initially working in the US, and eventually in various economies around the globe.

He has also worked with a large US consulting firm and with the government of Singapore as their telecoms regulator.

He will take up his appointment with eircom in June.
