Quinn workers seek meeting with Regulator
Workers at Quinn Insurance are seeking an urgent meeting with the Financial Regulator today.
It comes after the company's administrators last night informed 2,400 workers by email that details of a redundancy plan will be finalised by the end of the week.
Quinn workers were meeting this morning to discuss the development.
They believe that the jobs are only at risk following the decision by the Regulator to allow the company to only partially re-enter the UK market.
Workers' spokesperson Mona Bermingham said it is the wrong decision.
