British motor industry issues plea for continued support

The motor industry in the UK made a pre-election plea today to the next government to keep supporting the UK’s car business after the General Election following the struggle to maintain production during the recession.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders called for increased investment in science, engineering and technology to increase employment opportunities and boost skills.
