Quinn Insurance customers switching to Aviva, claims chief executive

The chief executive of Aviva Ireland says he has seen a surge in people taking out health insurance with the company in the wake of the Quinn saga.

Jim Dowdall says it is recorded its biggest period ever with around 5,000 policy holders switching over to Aviva in the past two weeks.

The Aviva Chief says consumers are concerned and uncertain about their policies in light of the Quinn case.
