INM expected to confirm sale as profits fall

An announcement is expected in the next 24 hours in relation to Independent News and Media's plan to sell its UK Independent titles.

The group posted results today showing an operating profit of €177m for 2009, with revenue falling almost 15% - and it is predicting an increase in operating profit this year.
