Changes at IL&P board
Irish Life & Permanent chairman Gillian Bowler has today the establishment of a new Committee to deal with Risk & Compliance issues.
A number of changes to the membership of the committees of the board were also announced.
Bowler also announced that Eamonn Heffernan and Liam O’Reilly have advised the board that they do not intend to stand for re-election at the forthcoming AGM this coming May.
"Both Eamonn and Liam have been valued colleagues and have made enormous contributions to the Board during their respective tenures," she said.
"On behalf of my colleagues, I want to express our appreciation to both of them for their work on the Board and we wish them every success in the years ahead."
The membership of the Board committees is now as follows:
Audit Committee: Breffni Byrne (chairman), Margaret Hayes, Roy Keenan & Pat Ryan.
Nomination Committee: Gillian Bowler (chairman), Breffni Byrne Danuta Gray, Roy Keenan & Ray MacSharry.
Remuneration & Compensation Committee: Danuta Gray (chairman), Gillian Bowler, Eamonn Heffernan, Ray MacSharry & Pat Ryan.
Risk & Compliance Committee : Pat Ryan (chairman), Breffni Byrne, Bernard Collins, Eamonn Heffernan, Roy Keenan & Liam O’Reilly.
Roy Keenan is the senior independent director on the board.
