'Deeply regrettable' BA strike to go ahead
A strike by British Airways cabin crew will go ahead after talks in London between the airline and the Unite union collapsed.
The first three-day strike begins at midnight tonight with thousands of the airlines cabin crew walking out.
A second stoppage is scheduled for March 27 in protest at the airline's imposition of changes to pay, jobs and working conditions.
BA chief executive Willie Walsh said that the strike was "deeply regrettable".
