Healthcare firm to create 22 jobs in 2010

Hidden Hearing, the hearing healthcare company, have announced plans to invest over €18m and create 22 jobs in 2010.

The company said more jobs will come on stream over the coming years as new hearing centres open.

The move will double its presence in the Irish market over the next five years and follows strong sales growth over the past number of years, with 2009 seeing a record number of hearing device fittings.

The company said that sales increased by 15% in 2009 and looks forward to continued strong sales growth in 2010 and beyond.

Hidden Hearing’s five-year growth plan will see continued significant investment in its branch network, doubling the number of hearing centre branches from 20 to 40.

In 2010, the company will invest over €3m, opening six new Hidden Hearing branches, creating 22 new jobs and investing in new audiological technology, advanced training for staff and a new CRM system to further enhance customer service levels.

The six new branches are planned for Dublin, Mayo, Sligo, Cork and Monaghan.

This follows an investment of over €2.5 million in 2009, opening three new branches and employing 17 new staff.
