Cowen unveils knowledge economy plan

The Government has unveiled details of a plan to create up to 215,000 jobs over the next 10 years.

It is contained in a new report from the Innovation Task Force - which makes 24 recommendations designed to transform Ireland into an international innovation hub.

The study calls for additional seed funding for start up enterprises and entrepreneurs, measures to address the lack of competitiveness and better co-operation between the jobs creation agencies.
