BSkyB to create 500 jobs in UK

Satellite broadcaster BSkyB is to create more than 550 jobs at a new customer service centre, the company said today.

The call centre, in Stockport, Greater Manchester, is being opened in June “to meet increased demand for TV, broadband and home phone services”, a statement added.

Chris Stylianou, who runs Sky’s customer centres, said: “Sky is excited about finding a new home in Stockport and I am delighted to be able to announce these new opportunities.”
