Supreme Court to decide fate of Fleming Group
The Supreme Court will today decide the fate of the struggling Fleming Construction Group which has debts of €1bn euro.
The High Court appointed an examiner last year to try save the companies but ACC Bank, which is owed over €21m, wants that decision overturned.
The Supreme Court will hand down its decision after ACC described the Fleming Group's 10-year survival plan as a personalised NAMA, saying there is no evidence of future finanical support from the banks.
This, it argued, will leave secured lenders pulling the strings of the property development business which includes the half-built Sentinel building in Sandyford, Co Dublin.
