More good news for recession-proof Domino's
Pizza-maker Domino's has reported higher-than-expected quarterly profits today - helped by rising international sales.
It's thought the rise in international sales and new recipes in the US have helped the chain to record net income of nearly $463m (€510m).
The company said that sales abroad now accounted for nearly half of its overall retail sales, with Ireland seen as one of its most profitable markets.
The group employs around 18,000 people and has more than 570 stores across the UK and Ireland.
