IBM axes hundreds of jobs
Technology giant IBM has axed more than 1,500 jobs across a number of its divisions, it emerged today.
The company, which employs nearly 400,000 workers all over the world, would not comment today, but documents submitted by redundant workers to the Alliance(at)IBM, a union representing a small percentage of IBM employees, indicated that at least 1,518 jobs were shed.
