Dublin-based financial software company Cognotec has been bought out of receivership by Newry's First Derivatives for €3.5m.

Dublin-based financial software company Cognotec has been bought out of receivership by Newry's First Derivatives for €3.5m.

Cognotec went into receivership last month after posting heavy losses.

The company employs 45 staff in Dublin.
