North set for 'Department of the Economy'

It has being suggested that a new 'Department of the Economy' be created in the North.

An economic review says it should replace the Departments of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, as well as Employment and Learning.

It is likely to take a year or more to establish. The Assembly is being told that a sub-committee of economic ministers is being established now.
